John Akerman's journey is a testament to his dedication and passion to service. An Eagle Scout John Graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BA in Psychology. He embarked on a remarkable path and dedicated a full career to the Boy Scouts of America. John's exceptional leadership skills and unwavering commitment to scouting values led him to excel as the CEO of two separate Scout Councils over his 40-year career. His innovative approach and strategic vision transformed these organizations, fostering growth, engagement, and impact within the scouting community.
Upon retirement, John embarked on a new journey as a REALTOR® with a major residential company. In 2023, he realized his dream offering extremely personalized service and opened John Akerman Realty, a boutique style company serving clients with individual attention.
